Overview
  • ­The Environment and social screening assessments were prepared in line with the KISIP’s Environment and social management Framework (ESMF) and EMCA.
  • The screening was done in regard to assessment of any potential adverse environmental and social impacts of the project in the respective project settlements and how they would be mitigated with recommendations if an ESIA was required or not. This ensured balancing of mitigations while also focused on the bigger picture of the potential project benefits
