Sectional Survey is the division of buildings into units to be owned by individual proprietors and the common property to be proportionately owned by respective proprietors as tenants in common. The ownership types of properties under SPA include the following:

• Individual ownership of an apartment or unit
• Joint ownership (tenants in common) of the common property proportionate to the unit factor of the unit or apartment
